Target Audience

Operator and ground handler personnel involved in the handling, storage and loading of cargo, mail, or stores and baggage.

Educational Goals

Acquire knowledge for :

  • Identify and classify dangerous goods
  • Recognize labels and packaging specification marks
  • Detect hidden dangerous goods in cargo and mail
  • Understand dangerous goods provisions in passenger and crew baggage
  • Track basic emergency response procedures.
